Improfanfic Party Episode 2! The Early Arrivals By Greg hoogendam AKA Lusipher fRIDAY 10:30pm= Beach House W4 sighed as he looked about. Was this really a good idea, he wondered. But who was he to defy Twoflower? The answer was obvious.....no one.... And so he was stuck, staffing a party that was liable to draw the attention of Law Enforcement officials. "Life could be conceivably worse" he comented ot no-one in particular, as Twoflower and Roe were in the middle of another Rival Schools tournament. Suddenly, a low dull thud was heard throughout the house.. Someone was knocking hard enough to shake the door. "I'LL GET IT!" everyone in the vicinity shouted, resulting in a Minion-like crash at the door, which Roe crawled out of. Opening the door, Roe's first reaction was "YAGH!!" It was shock when he saw the stubble-faced guy with the ragged ponytail, due to the way he was standing. "Um, did you know you're.....upside down? In midair?" The person at the door looked own...up....oh screw it, he looked at his feet. "Whoops...gotta pay more attention when I teleport." He walked down the wall to the ground. W4, who had miraculously avoided the crash, said "NeoVid? I'm surprised it took you this long to get here." Neovid favored everyone with a smarmy smile that prompted the reaction of wanting to put a bullethole in the middle of his 'I am Perfectly Norbal' T-shirt. "Hey, Woofer! I didnt think you'd be on the staff! And yes, I know its too good to be true, but I'm here! By the way....anybody seen a man in black power-armor with an axe on his back come through here?" "Um....no" Vid responded with Jack Lysia-like smile, "Good! That would be really freaky! eh heh heh heh....." "..." everyone answered NeoVid smiled, and stepped inside. The first guest has arrived Friday, 11:00pm= somewhere in California Lusipher was confident, Lusipher was sure, Lusipher......was currently being chased down I-5 on the back of his motorcycle by about 200 State Troopers...... Friday, 11:15pm= Beach House Calculus slowly aproached the beach house. The slow pace was largely due to the hand truck he was pushing in front of him, laden and covered with a drop-cloth to hide its precious(one would assume) cargo. Finaly, he reached the beach house, and knocked on the door. The door opened to reveal W4, "Calc?" Calculus nodded, "Yup, Moo. I come bearing supplies." "Like what?" said W4. "Lets see..." replyed Calculus, pulling a list form his pocket, "a case of Liptons Onion Soup Mix, Two cases Sour Cream, one case non-dairy Sour Cream substiute, 4 cases pretzels. One Hikari no Mallet. 100 first Aid Kits.....and 22 ultra-high-power dual K7 PC's, Two OC-19 Internet conenctions (with routers), a 24-Port Gigabite Ethernet Hub, assorted cabling, UPSes, and generators." As he finfished, both his and W4's eyes had begun gleaming with thoughts of things now to come.... "COME ON IN!!" shouted Woofer, holding the door wide open for the goody laden cart to enter. Saturday, 9:00am= Beach house The night had been long and tiresome, but finnaly, Calc's gifts of computers had been hooked up. The five current house residents were busy watching TV as they ate their breakfast cereals of choice, when the Cartoon they had become engrossed in was interupted.... "We Interupt this program to bring you the following Special Report" came the voice of the oh-so-stoic Anchorman, "Since 9:00pm last night, a lone Motorcyclist has rampaged through three states, and is currently making his way to the San Diego area, all the while chased by over 300 state and federal Law Enforcement Officials. We have identified the Cyclist as one Gregory Hoogendam, a California Resident.....why this chase has gone into three seperate States is currently Unkown." "Well," said Roe, "Looks Like Luse is on his way." "Oh My" deadpanned W4, NeoVid and Calc at the same time "I'll get the barricades set up." said Twoflower as he got up and headed out the door Saturday, 9:15am, San Diego Surface Streets "YEEEEEEEEEEEEE-HAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!" came the cry of Lusipher, as he roared down the street at 150mph, dodging the odd car, "now this is the way to travel....okay, so I got a few cops on my case.....ooh well, whatya gonna do?" Did we mention that he's talking to no one? No? well, consider yourself informed. "Okay, now...if I'm right, and I hang a right here....." he spoke as he did so, "Followed by a left here.....VOILA! two blocks from the beach!" It was about this time he noticed the smnall roadblock set up aorund a house, and a few familiar looking faces standing near it, "Those guys.... they do know how to facilitate an entrance...." he commented asas he turned into a narrow alley, and heard the satisfying *CRUNCH* of multiple squad cars smacking into each other "Heh, NO ONE CATCHES THE ROAD RONIN!!!!" he cried as he ran smack dab into the barricade, over Twoflower's head, and headfirst onto the roof. "ow....." Saturday 9:45am= Beach House Omi no Miko cautiously aproached the beach house, a large bag on her back. Without bothering to knock, she slipped in, and looked around, Twoflower had somehow finagled W4 into a Powerstone game, NeoVid and Calc were busy at the Computers, killing random things.....her target however, was nowhere in sight....cautiously, she walked upstairs, and headed out onto the roof to wait. As she walked abou the roof, she noticed something, her target seemed to be pulling someone from the roof.... "ow, watch it, Roe." "Luse, explain to me again exactly why you were being chased...." "I told you, I ran a red light......" "You got into a tri-state high speed chase....all because you ran a red light?" "doesnt everyone?" "...no" Omi smiled, and sneaked up behind Roe and then, in the classic tradition, yelled "HIHI!!!!" Roe found himself embedded in the roof next to Luse Omi smiled brightly, "Am I late?" ~finis~ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Authors Notes Okay, here it is...not quite what I was aiming for......
