Somewhere, the sound of keys tapping could be heard.  A doorbell rang and
a girl rose up from her desk to go answer it.  After a brief conversation
with her visitor, she closed the door and walked over to a table,
carrying a large package.  Puzzled, she set it down and looked at it.

"Hm, no address or anything.  I wonder who this could be from."  Taking
the box and listening to it, she shook her head.  "Well, it's not a bomb.
Guess I should just open it."  Taking out the scissors and cutting it
open carefully, she pulled out a large expanse of brightly colored
material.  Shaking it out it was revealed to be a costume of some sort.
"Oh my.  A Skuld costume!  How kawaii!"

Part 3 - LOTS of arrivals *whew*

A man sat at his computer, thinking out loud.  "Delfina should have
gotten that package I sent her.  She'll look so cute in it."  Grinning to
himself he returned to his computer.  "I wonder if I'll see her at the
party...whenever I decide to go..."

*****

Omi grinned wickedly at Roe as he tried unsuccessfully to extricate
himself from the roof.  Lusipher was having the same bad luck.  "Well,
hello boys!  Whatcha up to?"

"Currently, I'm trying to get myself out of the roof.  Would you mind
lending a hand, Omi-chan?"  Roe said, attempting again to break loose.

"Why no... I wouldn't mind - Hey, was that the doorbell?  More guests!
Wai!"  Omi ran off, leaving Roe and Lusipher helpless.

"Gee, thanks." Lusipher said, as the Omi-shaped trail of dust faded away.

A long, black stretch limo pulled up to the beach house.  A bishonen
chauffer got out of the car and opened the door for a petite blonde
wearing a long, slinky red dress.  She walked up to the door and rang the
doorbell.  W4 opened the door and gaped.  His jaw dropped and he started
shaking.

She smiled at him, and asked, "This is where the party is being held,
correct?"

"Um, err, ehehe, um...yeah.  C-c-c-come on i-i-i-innn!"

Stephica smiled and stepped past the severely flustered W4 into the
house.

Somewhere in the misty realm of England, a young man sat and read his
computer screen.  "Party?  Wow.  I can go and meet all of the other
IFF'ers.  Neat.  In America, eh?  Now how to get there..."  Eslington
started rummaging around in his room for that nifty teleportation staff
thingie he had found.

Aaron honked the horn, trying to get Dan Wood and Eric, aka nihility, to
hurry up.  Classes were almost over and if they didn't leave now, the U
of Mn traffic would kill them.  The two finally finished loading up all
of their gear into the '96 Honda Accord (gosh, everyone likes to be
specific about what kind of car they drive.  Maybe it's 'cuz they're
guys? ;p) and jumped in.  Aaron then peeled off with a squeal of tires
and Nine Inch Nails playing in the background.

Chris finished loading up his car and smiled with satisfaction.  The Box
of Stuff was full of goodies that he was sure would be enjoyed by all of
the guests.  He patted his old car affectionately.  "Yes, we're going to
leave this nasty state and go to California!"  Hopping in his car, he
started it, albeit with a few strange noises being made that aren't
technically supposed to sound when you start a car, and sped off into the
distance!

Dan looked very uncomfortable.  The silence was killing him.  The two up
front hadn't spoken a word beyond monosyllabic responses since they left
Minneapolis.  And now they only a state away from the party!  Finally,
Eric spoke.

"Not many police cars out today."

"Nope."

Then they shut up again until they arrived.  Spotting the party house,
Aaron screeched to a halt, utilizing the parking break to prevent the car
from crashing into the building.  Dan passed out.  Eric turned to Aaron
and said, "I see, you've improved."  The two climbed out of the car,
leaving Dan there, and headed towards the house, equipment in tow.

The Ragnarok landed quite gracefully on the beach by the house, albeit
somewhat noisily.  It opened and Todd stepped out.  He grinned as he
walked up the pathway to the door, preoccupied with his thoughts.  The
party would be great.  He would get to bounce people and plus - Dan would
be there.  He reached for the doorbell...

Dan started and opened his eyes blearily.  "What the heck was that noise?
And where did Eric and Aaron go?"  Sitting up and looking at his
surroundings, he spotted the beach house.  "Got to join the party!"  He
grinned as he walked up the pathway to the door, preoccupied with his
thoughts.  The party would be great.  He would get to slack off, AND nag
Delfina and Twoflower at the same time, and plus - Todd would be there.
He reached for the doorbell... and knocked against someone else.  He had
been so wrapped up in his thoughts that he hadn't noticed the other
person.  Looking up, he saw...  "Todd?"

"Dan?  Wai!"  Dan was instantly glomped by Todd.  That's when Twoflower
opened the door.

"Hi guys.  Did you want to come in?"

In the living room of the beach house, Stephica and Omi were talking
quietly, Dan and Todd were conversing not so quietly, and everyone else
had returned to their breakfasts and were watching TV - except for W4 who
was hyperventilating into a paper bag.  And the band, who were setting up
their equipment on the deck.  (Was there a deck?  Well there is now!)

"So where did you get that great bishonen chauffeur, Stephica?" Omi
asked, drooling slightly.

"Oh, him?  He followed me home yesterday.  Like a puppy...  Oh, and do
you know where Roe is?"

Omi thought for a second.  "Roe?  I think I left him on the roof.  He
should be down in a bit."

Stephica nodded.  "Oh good.  But anyways - "

"Roe needs to dig himself out of the roof first."

Omi and Stephica blinked.  They looked the newest figure up and down
slowly.  "Lawrence?"

Lawrence grinned.  "Yeah?"

"Where did you come from?" Stephica asked.  "We didn't even see you come
in..."

"That's the point of being a lurker," he stated proudly.  "You wouldn't
believe all of the weird stuff I find out by lurking.  Anyways, I think I
shall return to my lurking..."

The pair smiled and nodded as Lawrence walked away.  Stephica glanced at
Omi.  "Why is Roe stuck on the roof?"

"Um..."

*****

Eslington looked around.  "Hm, where is the party?  I don't see
anything..."  Happening to glance down, he noticed that the ground was
several hundred feet below him.  In true form, he then started to fall.
"Aaaahhhh!!!!  Oh wait!"  Pressing a button on his staff, it changed into
an umbrella, causing him to float somewhat serenely down to the earth's
surface.  Or the roof of a beach house anyways.

"Ouch!  Watch where you're landing!"

Eslington looked down at the speaker.  "Roe?  What are you doing embedded
in the roof?"

"It's not by choice.  Help me out.  Oh, and Eslington, that's Lus.  Lus,
this is Eslington."

Lusipher struggled again briefly.  "Could you, help us out, Eslington?"

"Sure."  Pressing a button on his staff, it changed into a large crowbar.
"This'll just be a minute..."

Delfina looked into the mirror and grinned as she tugged at her costume.
"This is so cute!  I think I'll have to go to the party in this."
Spinning around gleefully, she tripped and fell  into the mirror...

*****

Lusipher dusted himself off and stretched.  "Thanks Eslington.  I didn't
think Omi was going to come back and let us out."

"No problem, Lusipher.  Now, let's go to the party."

"Sure."  He looked around for an exit.  "Just down these stairs I guess."
Noticing that Roe had a strange expression on his face, he asked, "Roe,
you okay?"

Roe shrugged.  "Yeah, I'm fine.  I just have this sense of impending
doom.  Let's go."  Leading the way, he started to walk down the stairs.
Eslington and Lusipher exchanged glances, and followed behind him a bit.
At the landing, he happened to notice a large mirror.  Seeing his
reflection, he decided that it would probably be a good idea to dust
himself off a bit.  Leaning in a bit closer, he was very surprised when
he was suddenly knocked to the ground with a great deal of force.  "What
the - "

"Del-chan!  You made it!"  Lusipher exclaimed, after seeing what had hit
Roe.

Delfina stood up, stepping on several vital parts of Roe in the process.
"Lusipher, hi.  Eslington.  What's up?"

From the ground, Roe wheezed out, "Del-chan, could you get off of me,
please?"

She jumped.  "Oh!  Sorry!  So, like, where is everyone?"

Roe painfully got up.  "Downstairs.  We were just heading there."

Delfina looked them up and down.  "Um, Roe?  Lus?  Why are you covered
with dust and pieces of roof shingles?"

"I don't feel like sharing," Roe said, as he stomped off.  Lusipher and
Eslington shrugged as they followed him down.  After glancing around for
a bit, Delfina trailed after them.

Anko looked around quickly, making sure that no one was around.  He had
heard the trucker say he was heading to California, and that's where that
Impro Party thing was!  Perfect!  This was just the thing.  Climbing
underneath the truck, he held onto the side bars for dear life, as the
truck roared into motion and set off to fame, fortune, and glory!  He
winced.  Did it have to hit every single bump on the way there?

Chris pulled up to the party house and noticed the band setting up on the
deck.  Taking out his box of goodies, he headed over there.

Stephica looked up from her conversation with Omi about the benefits of
breeding your own bishonens.  "Roe?  ROE!"  She immediately glomped him.
Roe went down.

"Nice to see *wheeze* you too, Steph," he choked out.  

Omi noticed Delfina walking in behind Roe and Eslington.
"Delfina-chan!!!"

Delfina looked up.  "Omi-chan!!!"  She ran over to Omi and they grabbed
each other's hands and started jumping up and down for a bit - causing
certain male IFF'ers to have nosebleeds.  They were then promptly
malleted by Calculus.  The two, of course, chose to ignore this.
Stephica tapped Delfina on the shoulder.  "Steph-chan!!!  Wai!"

"Delfina!  What are you up to?"

"Nothing really.  Just heard about the party and felt like coming."

"Um, what's with the Skuld costume?"

"Isn't it kawaii?  Someone sent it to me as a present!"

"Oh, of course.  How did you get here anyways?  Surprise someone in the
shower?"

Delfina shrugged.  "Fell through the mirror.  But I landed on Roe, so
it's all good."

Omi grinned.  "That was so nice of you Roe, to cushion her landing like
that."

Roe just groaned and started to walk over to the couch to sulk, when he
heard the doorbell ring.  Veering over to answer it, he opened it to
reveal a disheveled young man who looked as though he had hit every
single bump and pothole on the road of life, and had somehow survived.
"Hey, are you all right?"

Anko nodded.  "I'll... be... fine..."  He shook himself off and walked
over to the couch, somewhat rigidly, and collapsed.

Delfina and Omi hovered over his unconscious form.  "Maybe we should move
him into one of the bedrooms?" Delfina suggested.

Roe nodded.  "Yeah, probably a good idea."  Delfina and Omi stared at
him.  "What?"

Omi looked slightly offended.  "You didn't expect *us* to move him,
right?"

Roe sighed.  "Fine.  NeoVid, you want to help here?"

"Not really, but I'll watch."

Lusipher stepped up and grabbed part of Anko.  "I'll help.  Let's move
him out."  They carried him off, followed by Stephica and NeoVid - who
was dragging the unconscious W4 along too.

Delfina looked around at the people left.  "Well, not everyone's here
yet... why don't we go see the sights of San Diego?  Cal told me about a
great mall!"

Todd perked up.  "Shopping?  Let's go!"

Omi wai'd. "Wai!  Shopping!"

The rest of the party members looked at each other somewhat
apprehensively.

"I've got, um.. something to do..."

"You know, I think I'll go get some more nachos... we're running out of
supplies..."

"I think I'll see what the band is doing.."

"I've got to run the network..."

They all started to wander off... only Eslington was fast enough to make
it out of there.

"Dan, let's go!"  Todd said, as he glomped onto Dan.  Twoflower and
Calculus glanced at each other and started backing away... but were
stopped by Omi and Delfina.

"Come on guys.  It'll be fun!  'Sides, Cal needs to give us directions."
Delfina said, smiling brightly.

"What?  You were probably going to hijack that limo anyways - I'm sure
the chauffeur knows how to get there!"  Calculus said, frantically.

"Yeah, and why do I need to go?" Twoflower asked.

"Don't worry about it," Omi said, as she dragged them out to the car.

I didn't feel like writing what actually happens when part of the party
goes shopping, I have the utmost confidence in ravi to handle that. ;p
Anyways, a brief review - hopefully I caught everyone - and hopefully
it's not too chaotic.  And apologies to people I wasn't able to get in...
^_^;

Current Locations:  Anko, Roe, NeoVid, Stephica, Lusipher, W4 in a
bedroom together.  (Stop that!) - Eric, Aaron, Eslington - out on the
deck. - Todd, Delfina, Dan, Omi, Twoflower, Calculus are heading out to
go shopping in San Diego.
