-Being wrong, but realizes it has to happen sometimes
-Being intellectually "trapped"

Background:
Originally a physics/astronomy major at Pacific Lutheran University, Damien
has spent the next three years at Pierce college figuring out that he
should major in history. He is now at Arizona State University trying to
achieve that, but he has no idea what sort of career he should get into
afterwards.
His long time dream has been to be an author, but he has been hampered with
an extremely sporadic and low output of works. Save for a BattleTech novel
he wrote in 1996, he does not have any works longer than 30k (and that one
was his first MGH part). He hopes that working on Improfanfic will help him
in this regard.
After being somewhat disheartened by getting a 60% on his first history
quiz, and spending a week getting fully up to date in that same class (at
the expense of other classes. >_<) He has decided that he needs a break. He
decided to go to California to find a cute, otaku girlfriend, and realized
that that's where the party is being held.
Update: Arrived at the party by unknown (and unconsciousing) reasons... And
was soon sent on "Damien's Great Phoebe Quest" in which he attempts to find
the missing kiwi so as to bring her to the party, but his efforts are
mostly in futility, and should humorously highligh DR Folly(tm).
